Louise Aka Nanny Strozier

Louise Strozier, affectionately known as “Nanny” 92, resident of Sikeston , formerly of Henderson, Texas, died March 25, 2011 at the Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 7, 1918 in Stamps, Arkansas to the late Mary Brown Clemons.

She was a member of Fredonia Baptist Church in Henderson. On July 19, 1950 she was united in marriage to Lance Strozier who preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1986.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Simon of Sikeston, five grandchildren, Nakesa Strozier, Josh Simon, Lance Simon, Leon Simon and Brian Jasper all of Sikeston and three great grandchildren, Kaysha Strozier, Erick Jasper and Shakayla Jasper of Sikeston.

Friends may call Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 12:00 noon until the funeral of 1:00 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston with Rev. Larry White officiating.
