William Eugene "Gene" Crawford

William Eugene Crawford, 66, affectionately known as “Gene” of St. Louis formerly of Wyatt died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in St. Louis. He was born April 4, 1945 in Wyatt, the son of the late William and Susie B. Crawford.
He was employed by General Motors Corporation where he retired in 2007.
He was united in marriage to Edith Sulton who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons and one daughter-in-law, William D. and Patrice Crawford, Edward L. Crawford and Corey L. Crawford of St. Louis and Paige McGee of Charleston, one daughter and son-in-law Terwana A. and Sean Epperson of Virginia Beach, Virginia, seven brothers, Oscar Brown, Sr. of Snellville, GA, David Crawford of Columbus, OH, Robert Crawford of Chicago, Will Davis of Wilson City, Earnest Crawford, Jewell Crawford and Hardy Crawford of Jefferson City, five sisters, Helen Davis and Arie Hoard of Jefferson City, Mary Doyle of Maywood, IL, Brenda Towns and Linda White of Cleveland, OH, 10 grandchildren, one great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends
Friends may call Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 10:00 a. m. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Martin Temple Memorial Church of God in Christ in St. Louis. Graveside rites will be Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:00 A. M. in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of local arrangements
