James Edward Brown, 58, resident of Wilson City died Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Wilson City. He was born October 5, 1955 in Wyatt the son of the late Jessie Brown and Florence Crenshaw Brown of Wilson City.
He was employed by Fitzgerald Arena and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother he is survived by one son, Corian Greer of Wyatt, four sisters, Norma Jean Johnson of Lansing, MI, Cinda Mathis and Ruby Mootry of Detroit, MI and Louise Davis of Chicago and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 11 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Ollie Grove Baptist Church in Wilson City with Pastor Darren Horrell officiating.
Interment will Monday, March 17, 2014 at Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, IL at 11:30 A. M. with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
