J C Gaines

J. C . Gaines, 85, resident of Charleston, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Charleston Manor Skilled Nursing Facility in Charleston. He was born September 27, 1928 in Malden, MO to the late Richard and Lurah McElbein Gaines and was of the Baptist faith.

He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Gaines.

He is survived by one brother, Eddie Gaines of Chicago, one sister, Alberta Burrage of Battle Creek, MI, three grandsons, two granddaughters and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 1:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with Mr. Jimmy Gaines officiating.
