Ethel "Ms Polly" Jones

Ethel Lee Jones, affectionately known as Ms. Polly, 81, resident of Wilson City, Missouri died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. She was born April 18, 1935 to the late Allen and Everlean Chase Jackson.

Ms. Polly worked all her life to provide for her family. She was a great mother and loved everyone who came in contact with her. She was a kind, loving and warm person.

She is survived by nine children, Ray (Dawn) Anderson, Willie Anderson, Sr., Everlene (Johnnie) Cummings, and George Williams all of Peoria, Illinois, Theresa (Jimmie Lee) Greer, Ronald Jones and Chris Jones of Wilson City, Missouri, Melvin (Alisa) Williams of Charleston, Missouri, and Bobby Jones of St. Louis, Missouri, one sister, Lula Mae Scott of Mounds, Illinois, 36 grandchildren, 138 great grandchildren, 30 great, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, December 9, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour of 2:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston Missouri.
