Craig Steven Clint Walker, 66, died Monday, August 11, 2025 at Heartland Care and Rehabilitation Facility in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born June 6, 1959 in Diehlstadt, Missouri to the late Mose Walker, Sr. and the late Alice Robinson Walker.
Craig attended Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri during his younger years. He was baptized and began enjoying the word of God, creating his own personal relationship over the years.
He was a 1977 graduate of Charleston High School in Charleston. While there, he played basketball and was a member of the wrestling team, where he excelled.
Craig worked as a farmhand for many years. He took pride in his hard work.
Craig always had a smile on his face. He was a fun person that loved to joke around. He was a smooth talker that had a way with the ladies, especially those at the nursing home. He gave everyone around him a personal nickname. He even had one for himself, which was Michael Jackson. Those around him will miss playing cards and laughing with him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers, Ronald Walker, Marvin Walker, Gerald Walker, Mose Walker, Jr., and Larry Walker, and three sisters, Sharon Walker, Karen McKeller, and Marie Robinson.
He is survived by one brother, Ronnie (Ida) Walker of Charleston, Missouri, two sisters, Pastor Erma Price of Unity, Illinois, and Mona (Jerome) Hamilton of Charleston, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are forthcoming.
