Demarlo Deshea Steward was born January 11, 1982 in Hayti, Missouri to Allen Rand and Betty Steward. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Cornelius Payton and Orentlel “T-Shirt” Steward.
He grew up in Lilbourn, Missouri, and he dedicated his life to Jesus Christ at a young age.
He played football at New Madrid County Central, and graduated with the class of 2001. Upon graduation, he moved to Muskegon, Michigan. In 2011, he moved to Jefferson City, Missouri and was gainfully employed at the Correctional Facility.
Demarlo loved sports and barbequing. He was a very funny person and a joy to be around. We will miss him dearly.
On November 13, 2025 while in Jefferson City, Missouri, Demarlo was suddenly taken from our midst at the age of 43 years, ten months, and two days.
Demarlo is survived by his mother, Betty Steward of Lilbourn, Missouri, two sisters, Jacara Steward of Jefferson City, Missouri and Mykelyn Steward of Fulton, Missouri, one brother, Allen Henderson of Southaven, Mississippi, one niece, two nephews that he was close to and loved, his best friend, Marcus Marsh, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Friday, November 28, 2025 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Pilgrim’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn with Pastor Darryl Minner officiating. The Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
