Dorothy Jean Treadwell

Dorothy Jean Treadwell, 73, died Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Portageville Skilled Nursing Home.   She was born October 13, 1947 in Point Pleasant, Missouri to the late Joe and Hattie Johnson Treadwell.

Dorothy was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family, and her family loved her. Singing  and dancing brought her so much joy. Dorothy was a Keith Sweat fan and enjoyed listening to his music.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by three brothers, Ezell Treadwell, Frederick Treadwell, and Cleveland Treadwell, and two sisters, Ruthie Mae Treadwell Long and Catherine Dunklin.

She is survived by one brother, J.T. Treadwell of Marston, Missouri, three sisters, Mandy Treadwell Jones of Dexter, Missouri, Ethel Treadwell Banks of Lilbourn, Missouri, and Jearline (Mac) McCauley of Fort Washington, Maryland, one sister-in-law, Madglene Treadwell of Portageville, Missouri, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M at Mason Cemetery in Point Pleasant, Missouri.  The Williams Funeral Homes of Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
