Emma Lue Head Lewis

Emma Lue Head-Lewis was born July 30, 1947 in Skene, Mississippi to Clayton Willie Lee and Lenora Jones Head.  Her parents, one brother, Welton Jones Smith and six sisters, Ruth, Blanchie Mae, Louise, Mary, Martha and Bernice have all preceded her in death.

She attended McEvans School in Shaw, Mississippi.

Emma was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Randle Lewis, Jr.  To this union six children were born.  Randle also precedes her in death.

On Saturday, January 4, 2020 while at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri Emma transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home at the age of 72 years, five months and five days.

Those left behind to cherish precious memories include six children;  Ricky J. (Ashley) Lewis, Lamont Lewis, twins, Anthony and Angela Lewis and twins, Recole and Mecole Lewis, grandchildren; Hilory, Rick, Jr., O'Shea, Malondra, Nastassia, Alexia, Katyra, Rick,III, Ramyah, Ameryah, Octavia, Roman, Randle, Charles, Jolisha, and Christopher; two sisters, Evangelist Christene Head-Crump of Renova, Mississippi and Katherine (Earnest) Head-Smith of Cleveland, Mississippi, one sister-in-law, Doris Smith of Bradford Heights, Ohio and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, Missouri with Brother Trevor Robinson officiating. The Williams Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
