Glenda Lane Briggs, 76, resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, died Monday, June 22, 2026 at the Bowie Springs Assisted Living Facility in Bowie, Maryland. She was born December 19, 1949 in Cairo, Illinois to the late Leondas Lane, Sr. and the late Millie Graham Lane.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 10, 2026 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church located at 415 Lafayette Street in Jefferson City, Missouri. Another visitation will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston. Interment will immediately follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
