Lyman Smart, Sr., 86, resident of Lilbourn, Missouri, died Friday, September 18, 2026 while at his home. He was born on October 24, 1939, to the late John Lewis and Minurva Wright Smart.
He was united in marriage to Gloria Katherine Smart until she was called to her heavenly home on March 9, 2011.
He leaves to cherish his memories his six children, Carmen, Linda, Lyman Jr., Calvin, Jerome and Jeanne “Rene’e”.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, located at 303 West Main Street in Marston, Missouri. Interment will immediately follow in Evergreen Cemetery on US Highway 61 in New Madrid, Missouri with Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Repast for family and friends will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Dawson Road in New Madrid.
