Marshall Reed was born October 3, 1964 in Charleston, Missouri to Marshall Clyde Rodgers and Barbara Reed.
He graduated from Austin High School in Chicago, Illinois.
Marshall was a charming and charismatic person. He was always smiling and helping out around the house. He found joy in his creativity and liked working with his hands. He never forgot anyone’s birthday. Even though he was picky, Marshall loved to eat. He loved dogs, and enjoyed music, dancing, and playing funny cards in his spare time.
On Sunday, March 23, 2025 while at his home in Charleston, Marshall transitioned to his final resting place at the age of 60 years, five months, and 20 days.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his sons, Marshall Clyde, III and Marcellas, his daughter, Tanika, his father, Marshall Clyde Rodgers, his mother, Barbara Reed, his brother, Bomana Hunt, his sisters, Lisa Riggens, Lawanda Betts, Tyra Norris, and Marchlena Rodgers, his favorite cousin, Tanisha “Nuddie” Ingram, a special friend, Kristen Ware, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call April 5, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 11:00 A.M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston. Interment will immediately follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home in charge off arrangements.
