Martha Townsend

Martha Magdalene Townsend, the daughter of Robert Lee and Jessie Mae Townsend, was born in Charleston, Missouri. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, L.C. Townsend, Henry Townsend, and Edgar Lee Townsend, four sisters, Louisza Townsend, Louise Wells, her twin, Mary Townsend, and Bertha Booker, sisters-in-law, Jennie Mae Townsend, Leo Wells, Dovie Townsend, and Ruby Townsend, her godmother, Alfreda Rodgers, two nieces, and three nephews all preceded her in death.

Friends may call Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Abundant Life in Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri with Pastor Rod Dunlap officiating with Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
