We are sad to announce the homegoing of Mr. Percy White, Jr.

Percy White, Jr., 80, resident of Sikeston, Missouri, died Sunday January 4, 2026 at his home. He was born November 15, 1945 in Matthews, Missouri to the late Percy and Nellie Mae Hamilton White, Sr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Alonzo White, Nathaniel White, and Herman White, his sisters, Birdester Thomas, Gracie White, and Geneva Taylor, and his stepson, Michael Williams.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his sons, George White of Malden, Missouri, Mark Jones of Sikeston, Missouri, and Percy (Mindy) White III of Success, Arkansas, his daughters, Vera (Freddie, Sr.) Turner of Sikeston, Missouri, Matilda (Arthur) Clopton of Malden, Missouri, and Melanie White of St. Louis, Missouri, his stepson, Carl Williams of Kansas City, Missouri, his brothers, Bishop Larry (Pastor Louise) White of Sikeston, Missouri and Eddie Joe (Estella) White of St. Louis, Missouri, his sisters, Pastor Bernice (Robert) Hamilton of St. Louis, Missouri, and Margaret White and Willie Mae Chamberlain both of Sikeston, Missouri, 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at New Hope Ministries in Sikeston with Bishop Larry White officiating and Bishop Jeremiah White eulogizing. Interment will immediately follow in Sikeston Memorial Park in Sikeston with the Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
